Job description

We are looking for an intermediate Software Development Engineer to join our North American clients remote-first engineering team, building software that powers telecom operations at scale. It's a position where you'll write real code, collaborate across functions, and grow your craft in an environment that takes scale to the next level.







Roles & Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems - contributing independently to features and improvements across the product.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into clean, well-structured solutions.

Write maintainable, efficient code and take increasing ownership of the quality and reliability of what you ship.

Participate actively in code reviews - both giving and receiving feedback to raise the bar across the codebase.

Create and maintain technical documentation that keeps the team aligned and moving efficiently.

Stay current with emerging technologies and bring relevant ideas back to the team.





Job Requirements



2-3 years of experience in software engineering - enough to work with confidence on well-scoped problems and contribute meaningfully to a team.

Solid understanding of software design principles and hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems.

Comfortable working in backend languages - experience with Python, Ruby, or Go is a strong fit for this team's stack.

Able to work independently on defined tasks while collaborating closely with the team on broader decisions.

Collaborative, communicative, and invested in the people and product around you.
