Our candidate should have the following skills for this role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent through experience. • Candidates should have relevant operational experience in an international production environment of at least 3 years in the field of accounting, reporting and tax. • Practical knowledge of IFRS is a plus. • Hands-on SAP experience, and with business intelligence reporting tools in general. • Open to increase relevant knowledge, by self-learning and/or by following additional training courses • Can work independently, has a critical mind set and is problem solving orientated. • Excellent English communication skills, in written and oral. • International travel can occasionally be required, but is no issue if needed. • Good general and most common PC skills.

Overview of the role
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will become responsible for the day-to-day accounting and related internal reporting’s for some entities of the region BeNeLuxFr allocated to the Shared Service Center, and the coordination of their local accounting - and tax compliance requirements. You will report directly to the Accounting Team Leader of the Shared Service Center.
In this role, you will become an important link between the other finance - and operational teams within Indaver, and accounting and tax experts outside Indaver.
Function description
Responsibilities for the role in scope
• Process the accounts payable transactions, accounts receivable transactions, payroll transactions, cash transactions and general journal entries to insure an efficient and reliable reporting. • Prepare payments runs, when required. • Prepare the internal periodical reporting’s and underlying reporting packs. • Coordinate with external experts in order to insurance that all local compliance requirements are properly fulfilled within due time for what concerns accounting, reporting and tax (i.e. direct - and indirect tax). • Provide assistance to the Accounting Team Leader of the Shared Service Center with respect to the periodical budgeting process for what concerns, amongst others, the balance sheet, depreciations and tax positions. • Prepare the periodical statutory audit. • Have contact, on a regular basis, with the internal and external stakeholders in order to be able to insure a efficient and well supported administration.
