Registered Nurse / Health Care Assistant
Our customer administrates several residential homes in Vienna. To ensure the superior service provided to its clients, the company is searching for additional health care assistants and registered nurses.
Health Care Assistants provide a high level of personal, physical and emotional care that can include all aspects of day-to-day activities, personal care and companionship.
Registered Nurses are responsible for e.g., undertake set nursing procedures like phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose monitoring, preparing patients as necessary prior to procedure, using aseptic technique. Provide advice and instruction to patients to explain and procedures being undertaken. Recognize change in patients need and with instruction adapt care package accordingly.
According to Austrian Legislation there are 3 levels of health-care professions:
Health care assistant - (one year professional education)
Qualified health care assistant - (two years professional education) and
Registered Nurse - (3 years study medical nurse with university-diploma)
FRAMEWORK CONDITIONS:
The weekly normal working time is 38 hours. Every full-time employed person is entitled to 25 days paid holidays per year. This holiday-entitlement is increasing - depending on the length of service up to 31 days.
The minimum base salary - according to the Austrian collective labor agreement for health care professions - is approximately € 30.000, - gross per year for health care assistants and appr. € 35.000, - gross per year for registered nurses. Depending on qualification and job-experience an overpayment is possible. There are also allowances for night-shifts, hardship, duty, dirty work etc.
As there are huge differences in the curricula between the Austrian medical nurse study and the program of foreign universities - a recognition process of the academic certificates has to be undertaken upfront. An academical diploma for registered nurse from Country "X" might fulfill only the requirements for a qualified health care assistant position in Austria.
WHAT WE WILL DO FOR YOU:
bestpeople will check the equivalence of the diplomas of the applicants and give feedback in advance.
The successful candidates will receive guidance and accompaniment for all relevant steps which are required to move to Austria (e.g., recognition process for diplomas, working permission, support for the search of apartment, etc.)
Allowance for the starting apartment for the first three months and ticket for the first travel to Vienna.
